Multimax Awarded $7.4 Million in Options for Navy's ONE-NET Program

Company to Support Update of European and Far East Network Operations and Security Center and Network Service Centers


HERNDON, VA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 17, 2007 -- Multimax, Inc. -- the premier resource for performance-based enterprise information technology (IT) and communications services for Department of Defense (DoD) and civilian agencies -- announced today that it has been awarded options to provide additional professional services and equipment for the technology refresh of the U.S. Navy's Overseas Navy Enterprise Network (ONE-NET).

The options cover work at multiple Theater Network Operations and Security Centers (T-NOSCs) and Local Network Service Centers (LNSCs) in Europe (Naples, Italy; Sigonella, Italy; Souda Bay, Greece; Rota, Spain) and the Far East (Singapore; Yokosuka, Japan; Misawa, Japan; Atsugi, Japan; Okinawa, Japan).

Technology refresh services to be provided by Multimax include:

--  Develop, furnish, and install network device replacement solutions
    meeting pertinent standards, including information assurance requirements
--  Conduct applicable testing, including a System Operation and
    Verification Test (SOVT)
--  Install new media interfaces and fiber optic patch cords; provide
    Unique Identification (UID) labeling; provide cabling changes
--  Develop a logistics concept and spare parts plan for the new network
    devices
--  Provide initial training and materials
    
Multimax recently completed technology refresh activities under ONE-NET for Navy Support Activity (NSA) Bahrain.
